The 9th International specialized exhibition and forum ROADEXPO, a significant event for specialists of the roads construction and operation, was held June 4 through 7, 2019 in Crocus Expo.

Business program
The business program of the exhibition and forum is a complex of events designed to shape the further course of sustainable development of the industry and to find ways leading to solution of current problems.
In 2019 the calendar of events covered various issues related to bridges and tunnels design, construction and operation. At the turn of the third millennium Russia has displayed impressive achievements in bridge and tunnel engineering due to state-of-art construction methods developed by Russian research teams and applied by engineers.
Round table Assessment of Transport Structures Technical Condition and a Meeting of Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University Debating Club became the main events of the program this year.
June 4 the round table mentioned above opened the business program of ROADEXPO 2019. Speakers from the largest players of the road industry participated in its program.
Meeting of Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University Debating Club was held June 5, 2019. The moderators of the discussion Maintenance of Roads. Difficulties and solutions (MADI) were Vladimir Oneguin, Academician MAkT, and Oleg Diachenko, Deputy editor-in-chief RZhD Partner magazine.
At the exhibition and forum specialists could directly contact Russian and foreign manufacturers of materials, services and equipment for construction, repair and maintenance of roads, exchange knowledge and experience within the events of the business program, find new partners and run a set of negotiations within a short term.
The ROADEXPO 2019 confirmed once again the high status of the main event of the year for professionals of road and relative industries, reflected development of the road infrastructure of the country, drew up the development plan for the road industry for the next year, promoted various solutions of existing problems, became the platform for communication for all players of the industry: designers and builders, decision makers and end users of transport services. It was the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships and effect professional networking related to cargo security and traffic safety and comfort provision. Key feature of the project was in a system approach to solution of the problem of national road system development.

June 4, 2019 the round table Assessment of Transport Structures Technical Condition (Pavilion 1, conference hall 2) will open the ROADEXPO business program.

The International specialized exhibition and forum, a representative event devoted to the development of Russian road infrastructure, was held in Crocus Expo October 10 through 13, 2017. ROADEXPO is one of the largest specialized exhibitions in Russia, highly appreciated and rated among not only road branch professionals but among also professionals of allied industries – transport and construction industries because the project covers all aspects of road infrastructure development. The project was supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Road Agency.

In transport infrastructure development, the ministry’s priority areas include promoting uniform policies and standards, coordinating efforts made at different government levels and building federal infrastructure. The Russia’s transport strategy has been recently updated for the period through 2030, which was approved by the Russian Government at the end of the last year. The Transport System Development state program became a key enabler of this strategy. The country’s authorities decided to involve foreign contractors, operators, investors and manufacturers more actively in infrastructure projects. Obviously, we are extremely interested in seeing new professional players enter our market. Do not be afraid of inviting investors and concession participants through open bids to implement federal transport infrastructure projects. The road industry generates the highest number of concession agreements.

The complex of events initiated and organized by the Federal Highway Agency started with Roman Starovoyt's press conference devoted to results of the road season and significant projects of the year. Events of various formats were held within the frames of the business program in 2017: semi-annual plenary meeting of the scientific-practical conference Safe and Quality Roads; meeting of the scientific and technical Council of Federal Road Agency On the Preparation of Road Infrastructure for the Launch of Unmanned Vehicles Caravan; and enlarged meeting of Rosavtodor Public Council.

After the official ceremony Maxim Sokolov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, made tour at the exposition and visited stands of road-building organizations, entities of the transport complex, and also entities involved into key transport projects implementation in our country.
The exhibition demonstrated full range of products and services for roads construction and maintenance: designing and construction, materials for construction and maintenance, equipment for paving production, bridges and tunnels, road-building and municipal machinery, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), leasing, paving quality control, traffic safety and road service. The ROADEXPO exhibition and forum is an effective communication platform for representatives of state authorities responsible for the development of road infrastructure and specialists offering services and materials for road construction and maintenance.
About 200 companies from 33 regions of Russia and 6 foreign countries (China, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Netherlands) participated in the 2016 edition of the exhibition. Moreover, more than 50 new exhibitors joined the project this year, representation of products of the petrochemical complex and offer of materials and equipment in Traffic Safety section were expanded.
ROADEXPO exhibition has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. Its special events (round tables, plenary meetings, meetings of working group and etc.) serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allows all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.
In 2016 more than 5 000 specialists road builders, representatives of governmental and private organizations responsible for the maintenance of the road network attended events of various formats within the frames of the business program within the frames of the business program, which is 7.4% more than last year.
